After dinner we were surprised by the doorbell, but no one was there when we answered. As we were closing the door we noticed this note hanging from the milk box…
Dear Owen and Jack,
The Easter Bunny knows that you are two special guys, so follow the clues to find your Easter surprise!
Clue #1 - Put on your jackets and both of your shoes, and go to the place where the jungle gym’s blue! Up in the tunnel there’s something for you; look all around for clue #2.
After some thought about what could be a “blue jungle gym” (Owen’s gymnastics class gym and Central Park were nixed by Mama since the bunny didn’t mention a car) we ran over to the Blue Park just up the street.
Owen: This is going to be really tricky!
A new clue was found taped to the inside of the tunnel…
…which sent us to Nana and Dock’s house
(When his godparents answered the door, Owen explained the circumstance which led us to need to barge into their house. Fortunately they were very accommodating and let us in!)
