A Simple Project

Why is it that a quick project is NEVER quick?!

I had many plans of organizing, cleaning, and crafts projects that I thought I would easily be able to finish today.

I thought I would start with the art cupboard:

So I set the timer for 20 minutes (the time I thought it would take me to organize this – don’t laugh – I like timers!)

After 20 minutes, this was the result:

Now my mother has wisely told me, “Guess how long you think a project will take, and multiply that by three.  That is how long the project will take.” 

So, I gave myself an hour. Which resulted in this:

 

And this:…and this.

And FINALLY this:

(um this is the remainder of the stuff that I was too tired of sorting out!  I’m hiding it somewhere.)

In the end, that was the ONE project I worked on for the ENTIRE day!  Why is that?
