Delta

(Ooops  - forgot to publish yesterday!)

This is Delta.  She was our guest from Owen’s school. She understands both French and English, but English must be her first language as she belongs to Owen’s English teacher.  Delta was supposed to come home with us on a Friday and stay for the weekend.  Unfortunately Owen was sick, so she came home a few weekdays last week. 

Owen measured her and she is 46 inches long.  But, she likes to go everywhere with you.  Since she stayed at our house during some weekdays, she ended up napping a lot on the couch, and never went out on the town…

Lest you think she didn’t have fun, note the photo below.  Owen and Jack kept her entertained with all sorts of games.  Delta was not fond of the game Slide-Down-The-Stairs-On-Delta-Like-A-Sled", but she took quite well to Hide-and-Seek.

We were very sad to see Delta return to school.  Jack especially mourned the loss as he does not get to visit with her at school like Owen does…
