Wedding Beach

Today was the best day.

We took a motorboat to the private beach that Eric and I were married on.  It was exactly as we remembered it and all of the new and fresh and pure feelings were with us.  It was beautiful.  And the kids loved the beach and making sand castles and collecting rocks, and swimming.

It is a narrow beach with high striped cliffs above that I think are really beautiful.

(The lighting was terrible since it was bright sunlight, so I had to mess with the family photos quite a bit to get them to show up.  Hopefully we can photoshop one a bit better when we get home…)

IMG_2555 We all swam and explored.  Jack and I built a sand castle adn Owen and Daddy dug some big holes ( which, I am sure, had a more sophisticated purpose than simply being a hole.  I am just unaware of that purpose just now..)IMG_2514IMG_2512

We only stayed two hours, but it was the perfect amount of time.  The last ten minutes, the monkeys curled up in some holes we had dug, and took a little rest.

We had the best meal at a local restaurant, bought ice cream on the way home, and have just tucked the monkeys into bed.

  2. Yay, so great. What a magical moment! Did you do the vows? Probably not - just basked in the moment. Hint...it's really the same thing! :)
