Jack has whatever sickness/flu that Owen had last weekend. He has a very high fever, and just lays around the house doing nothing. He has this on top of a slight cold that gave him a stuffy nose. Little guy asked if he could have his adenoid surgery today. (I had told him that the surgery will help him breath better and he really likes that idea – doesn’t see the point in waiting three weeks.)
Today he has gone back and forth between being very hot and feeling very cold. He takes his clothes on and off and goes between being bundled up in a blanket and crying when it touches him because he is so hot. He got up a little while ago because he was feeling so hot, but it didn’t take long before he was cold again. He went to the closet and fished out is down winter coat, then got his blankets and bundled up on the couch.
After that he felt good enough to give me a little smile – which I very much missed yesterday and today.
